Lazuli Creations

Previously known as 'Make ME Paracord' and 'Lazuli Crafts'.

All profits from the sale of my products go to 'Invest in ME', to help fund biomedical research into this debilitating condition. I was diagnosed myself in 2007 and know all too well the effect this disease can have on someone's life.

Making crafts for charity is a therapeutic way to focus on the positive side of things - on the little things I can achieve, the little ways I can contribute bit by bit, as and when I can.

If you have any questions or wish to make a custom request, please contact me, or visit my personal website at:!

100 Birdies for ME!

My aim is to make and sell 100 felt birdies! I started making felt birdies for my local Craft Group's "Craft Garden" at Light Night Leeds 2011. After the exhibition I decided that the birds had a higher purpose, and that I should sell them to raise money for Lets Do It For ME!

I am raising money for the Lets Do It For ME! campaign for the charity Invest in ME in the UK. I originally started 100 Birdies for ME! selling felt bird decorations and have since expanded to felt bird brooches, bird and spoon themed jewellery, Make Your Own Owl Kits and supplies.

My original target of selling 100 felt birds was surpassed at the beginning of 2013, but I am not stopping just yet! I donate 50p from each sale to the cause.

After been diagnosed with ME 3 years ago I really got into making minature food jewellery and have a website here but sometimes I find the polymer clay very exhausting and found that I love sewing and making really cute little crafty bits as well in bed! What better way to enjoy my hobbies than bringing smiles to others and raising money for a great cause too. I like people to have a smile on there face and so there just little items made with lots of love <3 I hope you enjoy my items and that I can make some difference to Invest in ME - all profits from my items willl go to Invest in ME and the rest just covers the cost of material that I have bought and means I can make lots more and make a difference :) ! Lots of love Katie xx
Swamp Kids

I didn't know much about M.E. until being diagnosed with it earlier this year after 2 years of illness. I was advised to read up about the condition and join support groups to meet other sufferers; unfortunately my experience was quite a negative one, until that is, I came across Make ME Crafts. Meeting a group of like-minded and postive people has been a huge boost. Having always been a fit and busy person, it was a massive struggle not being able to enjoy the sports and activities I used to do. But joining Make ME Crafts has inspired me to focus on what I can do instead of what I can't do. So my love of crafts has been rejuvenated and bit by bit I hope to create a range of hand-crafted products to sell under the name of 'Swamp Kids', all profits from sales will be donated to 'Invest in M.E.' If you would like any more informaton or have any questions then please do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks and best wishes from Liz.

BeVisible Jewellery
Hello! I\'m Rebekka and 5 years ago I got diagnosed with m.e/cfs at the age of 16. I have always loved arts and crafts and feel there is not enough awareness of this illness.. as sufferers of cfs/m.e we can often feel invisible, and my dream is to make that stop! Hence the name of my jewellery collection - BeVisible :) I hope my jewellery can make the wearer remember they are not alone and that they do not have to feel invisible any more! I hope my jewellery will help raise awareness, with the little hope ribbons and the spoons people are curious to ask the meaning behind them and it gives the wearer a great opportunity to share their story. My bracelets are handmade, made to measure and can be personalised colours to compliment any outfit! I also offer FREE UK postage. Please send me a message if you would like to make a special request, I love my customers to be happy with their purchase! <3 This site has been a huge help to me and I appreciate each and every order as it gives me a sense of acheivement and comfort knowing people are enjoying my jewellery :) Thank you for reading and I hope you like my little shop! x

Kelly's Kitsch

Hi there, welcome to Kelly's Kitsch Jewellery. My name is Kelly (the clue is in the title!!)and I have had ME at this current level for over 6 years, I had it a while before but was able to function reasonable well in "normal" life! I now spend most of my time confined to bed because of the ME but I have recently discovered that jewellery making is a great little hobby that I can manage to do, a little at a time, as my health permits. I really enjoy creating these quirky pieces and have now decided to try and sell items with the help of MakeMEcrafts to help raise vital funds for Invest in ME.

Beansprout Beads
My name is Becky and I make Handmade Glass Beads and necklaces. I use a Lampworking kit to create my quirky and fun designs. I work in my shed at the bottom of the garden which I share with my two rabbits, Stanley and Tabitha. I have had CFS for the last 5 years. In that time I Graduated with a 2.1 in Ceramics and Glass and started my own small Glass Jewellery business. I am able to work part time while I create my Glass beads in my spare time! I want to help raise money for funding for ME as it is a difficult condition to live with, and it may evuntually help CFS suffers as well. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and I hope you enjoy my jewellery :)
Debbie Rennie
Hi all, I have had ME since November 2009, so a ME Baby compared to some sufferers I know. I am now 90% housebound and when I do go out it is via a wheelchair. I am supported by a fantastic husband and a teenage daughter who alway make me smile and make this illness easier to bear. I have always loved making things and found card making something I can do when body and brain allow me to do so. I also create felt pictures which I frame and tailor to the individuals interests/hobbies. My amazing husband has just recently converted the spare room to my very own craft space, think he got fed up with the dinning room table being covered with craft paper and supplies, which means energy can be put into being more creative rather than tidying it all away. All profit from my cards are going back into Invest in ME, and includes postage for UK deliveries.

I have lived with, chronic, disabling M.E. and fibromyalgia since I was eight years old. Was it the years spent in bed, often isolated from the outside world that nurtured my love of reading, writing and crafting whenever able? Possibly. Or maybe a desire to make what I can out of small portions of fabric and experience always did run through my veins. When pretending not to be as ill as I am, I like to talk too much, laugh inappropriately, sniff the great outdoors, play the piano and be creative with cottons, threads and scraps of inspiration, read, write and support others who are ill with M.E (from my own home as I\'m mostly housebound). When illness sits on me more heavily I settle for audio books, feather pillows, counting blessings and plenty of hugs (of the feline, human and hot water bottle variety).

I've had ME since late 1999, with 2 of those years managing to get back to work part-time. I've been creative all my life and graduated in Illustration and Printmaking in 1979. I was attempting to set up my own knitting business when I had a major relapse in 2009 and recently also developed carpal tunnel syndrome. I've started doing more beading as a result, as it's not so hard on my hands as my beloved knitting. I'm keen to make a contribution to fundraising for Invest in ME as they have done such great work with their annual conferences, I have great confidence in the direction they're taking.

Hi, I’m Jenny, I\'ve had ME since 2005 and it appears I\'m addicted to crafting! :) I rediscovered a love of crafting and jewellery-making when I was looking for a hobby that would fit around my symptoms and abilities. Over the years I\'ve improved my skills and become more confident in my designs - I do hope you like them! I find variety keeps me interested and reduces the risk of symptom flare-ups, so you never know what things you might find in my shop! I tend to list mostly my ME-blue, Fibro-purple and spoon-themed items on this site, but I also sell via facebook ( and Etsy ( - please do visit, and gimme a \'like\' and a wave ;) I am very happy to undertake custom orders and bespoke pieces, please message me to chat about your ideas or needs. All of my items are made with lead and nickel-free components but if you have any specific allergies or requirements please do let me know. I also like to use old/vintage/recycled/upcycled/repurposed items to make one-of-a-kind pieces, though duplicates, colour variations and size alterations are generally possible. (And now you also know where to send all that old/broken/out of style jewellery that’s been cluttering up your drawers! All donations very gratefully received ;) ). I donate 10% of my profits to LDIFME, and I’m really pleased to help raise funds for essential research into this devastating and little-understood condition. It may not sound like much, but I am also raising funds to support a private treatment protocol that I\'m following (which is working!) and I hope to eventually fully fund this through my jewellery makes. As the protocol is also helping me to gain the ability to make more jewellery I find this a pleasing self-perpetuating cycle :) Also, if you compare us with some of the enormous, multi-billion companies making a big deal about giving just 0.1% of their profits to charity, the proportional amounts that PwME are able to give through their crafting endeavours are comparatively huge, and we should all be very proud of ourselves! Do have a browse through my shop, I hope you like what you see xxxxxxxx

Hello, I have had M.E since 1994, I first became ill during my first term at Sheffield Hallam University where I was studying silversmithing and jewellery, I tried returning to my course after a few weeks off after Christmas initially with what I thought was a bad case of flu, unfortunatly I was unable to continue with the course , I think you will know the rest!! lots of ups and downs, I still keep myself occupied with my creative pursuits despite not being able to do as much as I would really like to, I have had artwork displayed and sold in the main art shows in Sheffield and I have also had a go at Derbyshire open arts when well enough to do so. I am selling a few pieces of work on this site as I have in the past done the rounds of the costly snake oil salesman who said they could cure me. They didn\'t!, The research funded by this charity looks really promising and professional so I will be donating a percentage from each item sold on this site. Oh, the Fox is called Freya and is made from paper mache! she is my easy care pet and is not for sale, I made her when my health was a lot better in 2010. she sits on the hearth rug and only requires a light polish from time to time!!

My etsy shop contains hand crafted gifts and knitting patterns available as digital downloads. A year ago my daughter was diagnosed with ME and since then I have undertaken various projects to raise funds for Invest in ME Research.

I will donate 10% of the proceeds from my shop to Invest in ME Research. Please click on this link to be re-directed to my etsy shop:

My Jen Shawl KAL for Invest in ME Research is a fun and quick knitted shawl. All proceeds from the sale of the pattern go to Invest in ME Research. Please search for this link to go to the facebook page which contains a button to buy the pattern and post pictures of your finished shawl as well as chat.
